I have to disagree. The sheets merely indicate how fast a horse has run in the past and hopefully what his current form cycle is. (The latter is where the art is involved...) Sometimes, its possible to pick a horse to win who is significantly slower (based upon p.p.s than the favorites) of course that involves proper intrepretation of weight and the favorites form cycle. Then its a matter of math . Are you trying to beat one favorite on a deteriorating cycle or are you hoping to beat 2 or 3 going off form...lol

I never feel I've cheated when I win at 5-2.
