I appreciate your entreaty, bj. I chimed in a couple of times because I wanted to help Nunzio. He rarely fails to impress me.

I disagree with you and HP about deleting posts. Some posts should be deleted. The only standard should be quality. If Steve Plever, who is bright and witty, wants to blast Thoro-Graph, he should be allowed to--even if his words are a transparent attempt to ingratiate himself to the Raggies back home (as his words always are). If dataman wants to pick a preposterous fight with a benign clown, his words should disappear. HP notwithstanding, bad speech crowds out good speech. The question, as always, is WHO decides what is bad speech? At this point, the answer is to pick someone out of the phone book at random if necessary.

bj: I quit posting here because I genuinely detested my last opponent. That was no act. Hatred can provide energy, but it is junky energy. One should not run on it for extended periods of time. I will be back after the Belmont. You are a gentleman. I read all of your old posts in the archives. I especially loved the "naive farm boy" routine. Does that work up there?
