That wasn't the last time. That was 1992, a vintage year. I remember that Belmont well. A.P.-My Memoirs-Pine Bluff.

The Derby was vintage as well, Lil E. Tee-Casual Lies-Mane Minister.

But the last time was 1997. They brought a horse in from Maryland named "Captain Bodgit". He was a good horse but the Derby was bad wine. There was just an ounce too much Silver Charm in the mix. And a perhaps just a tinch too much Alexis Solis as well.
