: Still waiting for ONE example of how you guys who demanded them are using these pars to bet. HP.
I submitted a detailed post on Sunday 9-19-99 about a nice score colleting on a 29 to 1 at Hawthorne in the 9th race on Saturday 9-18-99. Apparently my browser ate it. I am not going to go into detail now, I am tired and busy. But the favorite, had the best line
and the best number (9). Nextcompetitive number was 12, which a few horses ran. The favorite had no excuse to bounce after running the 9, nice move forward and approximately six weeks off. According to its line the horse should move forward and destroy the field. The only problem I thought was the two pror races both nice moves, the 9 reulting in a win and the prior 11 resulting in a neck loss, were run in races that did not meet par times for the class. Watch My Gold loss and never really factored in the running of the race. Of course this is one event, but I believe races run in above par times result in a possible higher speed number than warranted becuase of the lack of internal pressure of the race.
