: : : : : : Since there seems to be renewed interest in how the thorograph handicappers are doing, a daily report card would be in order. I would expect the handicapping staff to crow about their good days, however infrequently they may occur.
: : : : : : Thursday's report card.
: : : : : : Shut Out---Zero/Nada/ 0-for the card at Belmont.

: : : : : : Zero/Nada/ 0-for the card at Meadowlands

: : : : : : Zero/Nada/ 0 for the card at Santa Anita...

: : : : : : Keeneland....$78.80 Exacta. Flat bet winning day.

: : : : : : Hawthorne...$50.40 exacta...$224.40 Trifecta , cold three horse box trifecta $224.40, although the handicapper did not say to play it....Overall , particularly in light of recent events, a spectacular day of picking.
: : : : : : Unless ofcourse, you mananged to just be playing Santa Anita, Belmont or Meadowlands.

: : : : : *** Talk is cheap !!! Show us your tickets , wise guy . Why don't you post your picks so we can see your handicapping prowess . Please tell me where on the RAGS site can i see there picks, win or lose the next day . And by the way, Len's horse that he picked to win the Meadowlands Cup was out of the exacta as the chalk ! bj

: : : : *** Follow-up . I just checked TG's analysis for the Meadowlands Cup , maybe you and the other raggies should read it . I have a feeling quite a few of Len's followers are a little light in the wallet today after unloading on Vision & Verse . bj

: : : Hey BJ,
: : : How much you wanna bet that Vision and Verse ran the best number in the race. Is it Len's fault if Sellers decides to ride in the six path on both turns? But as long as you bring it up , let's talk about some Thorograph "gems" from last night's card, courtesy of the Redboard Room.

: : : Tookin Down"likely to bounce" according to Thorograph...Much the fastest on Ragozin with NO bounce potential. He "bounced" right into the winners circle.

: : : Case Dismissed"isn't that fast", your handicapper wrote. He was plenty fast enough on Ragozin and we happily took the $9 plus payoff.

: : : Just to make the weet day complete was the Thorograph comment on yesterday's big race at Keeneland...See recent posts on big races/big days.....Thorograph was confident that Happyandyouknowit was "the horse to bet against". Obviously not too many people agreed including many Ragozin followers who cashed their tickets at $7.80.

: : : For the record though, yesterday's report card shows a winning day at Belmont where you cashed one $30 exacta. A small losing day at Hawthorne where you cashed a $16 exacta with a three horse box and added a $5.60 winner. Perhaps a break even, small loss day at the Meadowland where you cashed one $32 exacta and by the way DID NOT cash on the above mentioned Meadowlands Cup.

: : : At both Keeneland and Santa Anita you were shut out/nada/ o for the day..I think that makes three days in a row without a winner at Santa Anita...Oh yes, you did hit a $3.60 winner at Anita but you played it only in the doubles. I wouldn't want to not give you credit for that.....Another BIG RACE day today. Can't wait to ee how Thorograph performs. If form holds, it will be just like the Mets!!!!!

: : TG--First of all, we didn't post the comments you responded to. Second of all, our comments are all on the record BEFORE the race, for better or worse. Other than Friedman's general comments (and various sycophant's praise no matter the result) there is no comparable Ragozin info, retrospective handicapping notwithstanding. See if you can get them to put up a Red Board Room equivalent. TGJB
