: : : On Nov 11th at Hollywood Park I placed a $10 place and show bet on Justin's Pride in the 4th race. As it turned out Justin's Pride finished 4th but only @ a length from finishing 2nd. Normally this would not be a topic for discussion except that Justin's Pride went off at 90-1. I only bet this horse because a little known handicapping service had him finishing second. But I just didn't read the pick, I saw the pick racing in a simulated race and I was able to print a chart as if it were the day after the race. What I saw was Justin's Pride leading by 3 lengths in the stretch and being collared by Go Speedy Jo. In the actual race Justin's Pride got off to a 2 1/2 lead in the stretch and was passed nearing the wire by Go Speedy Jo (actual winner) and 2 other horses. The next day I compared the actual charts with the chart I printed the day before and they were so close it was scary.
