Y'all know I'm a Rag customer, but Howard, even I gotta say you're getting what you deserve for your posts here. Why use Len's excellent showing as an occasion to guarantee that piss gets sprayed all over everyone?

Well, there's ego contests, and then there's real contests (like the kind in which Len F reportedly just won $80,000 without the financial risk involved in a private head-to-head contest).
What's the upside of a duel-like contest with public picks? What good would bragging rights be except to bring new arguments over sample size? Would the outcome of a handicapping contest lead you to switch products? Len's performance doesn't help me one bit if I can't win on my own with his product.
If I ever get good enough to consider challenging JB (very unlikely), I hope I'll have the sense to refrain. Quietly cashing and protecting one's price makes much more sense, provided you care more about winning $$ than winning an argument.
Of course, we're all participating in an ongoing real contest -- at the windows. See ya there, and good luck OPM -- I suspect there's enough money out there for the both of us.
