: : Thunder Gulch a fraud? Man, do you have your blinders on. Here's an offspring for ya, INVISIBLE INK. Being a 3yrold in the second week in may he has two efforts of 1.5. I think you can count the number of horses who have done that on one hand.

: : Not successful? Please. Can't win a classic race? Well, if TGulchs offspring are going to close like PG did in the Juvenile last year and Ink did in the derby this year, I would say it's only a matter of time. I think you've been watching too many Mel Gibson movies.

: : BRIS lists his Sire Production Index at 3.80, I believe that's good enough for top 20 among all N.American sires. But you keep your grudge and bet against him, buddy! I'm happy to have your money in the pools!

: : And Alydar says I'M dumb......

: I'm not kidding. The horses you have mentioned are all glorified milers. If I had my choice of one sire that I could own, it would be Broad Brush. All of his offspring run - turf, dirt, slop, short and long. Thunder Gulch was by an excellent sprinter/miler. By the way, that crop (Alysheba, Gulch, Crypto, Bet Twice) was the last really good crop of horses I have seen. But we are all entitled to our opinion. If you read my post carefully, you will note that I don't bet much anymore, so THERE- you cant get my money anyway!!(LOL) Have a good day. Mark

You forgot to mention JAVA GOLD. But the 89 crop with Sunday Silence and Easy Goer was just as good and so was last year's- FuPeg, Red Bullet, Tiznow, Albert, Cap'n Steve and Unshaded.
