: In the spirit of posting serious stuff, here's my quick take on the Peter Pan, relative to the analysis with the race of the week here. Only 7 horses, so doubtful we'll see box car numbers out of tri's - I'm looking at an exacta box.
: I like Sirpa and Jerry's analysis much better than same on Telescam. Sirpa had a pair up, is running with more rest, and Telescam has come from a 20 this year and even a pair up won't win it. Better jock on Sirpa a plus.
: yada yada yada
: until Dayton Flyer - I'm ignoring at (almost) any price based on trainer stats (2nd off layoff AND sprint to route) AND short rest. A pair up won't cut it.
: I Love Silver MORE than the analysis. At 5-2 - unless the track comes up mud - see the off track sire stats and note last race was wet fast, not mud - this is the other half of my exacta box.
I have to agree with you on both counts, I like the Sirpa/Silver box myself. I hope Sirpa stays 15-1.
: Depending on Sirpa's price (which I think will be lower than 15-1) I may bet either or both to win, but this is a race to toss Bailey , Prado and Chavez and go for a simple exacta box. I may not win, but I'll take bets like every day of the week (unless it turns out to be only a $40 exacta!)
: Good luck.
