A Baffert-Lukas $1,300 exacta. I would bet saving all that ground that War Emblem backed up a bit and won. The third big race (in a row) is more and more the norm. Charismatic did it with much worse spacing.

When he said '47' for the half I was getting pissed. Some clocks these guys have in their heads huh? Where was Mayakovsky when you needed him? Now everyone will be crying 'milkshakes' and whatever. This Derby? On the sheets it will look like The Race Nobody Ran. Maybe we'll get even when WEmb backs up in the Preak. Maybe they'll all fall asleep at the wheel again. PDrift probably got something out of the race, but he won't be a price next out either.

The Mrs. liked WEmblem big time. I loved what the Prince said afterwards when they said he bought the Derby and he said "everyone buys the Derby and if I can I will buy it again." He's right, she's right, I'm left, they're gone. Sigh. HP
