I clicked through to this from Pull The Pocket and found it interesting. It's a radio interview with professional horseplayer who talks about his betting strategies. He bets primarily tris and supers in races with large fields at second tier tracks, looking to leave out vulnerable favorites. Most of that is at the beginning of his interview.

He also talks later about takeout, rebates, TVG, track management, etc., but a lot of that ground has been covered here at length.
