Twice Songbird has been headed at the first call. So if pace is irrelevant except as it concerns ground loss. Cara Mia should be able to attend the pace and still run her race. That would surprise me.

Cathryn Sophia could I suppose upset if the pace is a meltdown. But hard for me to imagine.

A rested and rejuvenated Land Over Sea could run second as she has demonstrated repeatedly. Usually because she doesn't try and run early with Songbird.

Catherine Sophia is equally vulnerable to Songbirds early speed (note her two losses). The problem is St. Javier makes few unforced errors.

The Rags board is chatting up beating a slow Songbird and c/b some here see it that way also. I suggest Servis or O'Neil would be happy with the $200K 2nd place check and will use conservative tactics. After all it is only a G2.

Joe - I don't think your exacta hope is so unreasonable although not a gimme. In fact she has a mild case of seconditis to boot.

Good Luck!
