I watched the t.V. show Bull the other night and learned that some folks don't really give much thought to details and they are generally referred to as conceptual thinkers. Another group of observers notice details and a single one of which can sway their thinking one way or another.

While I had no wager on the race and guessing you did. A detail that along with the odds on #4 would challenge my objectivity. Yet,as a conceptual thinker (which I believe I am) I saw the trip of #4 much like the chart read. Bumped hard at the start and squeezed from both sides. Proceeding sluggishly at the rear of the field while never threatening the other quintet until the stretch when hitting best stride. I don't imagine the early bump affected the result much at all. But again, that is a conceptual view.

The race involved significant bumping and swerving yet no one was killed and no assault charges were filed. From a personal responsibility perspective I would be kicking myself for playing the horse anywhere except in the third slot of the Tri.

I'm still recovering from Breeder's Cup hangover so considering racing or any race anywhere is still difficult for me.

With all that said, I think I can appreciate your point of view here!
