I'm still reeling from the Indiana Grand P3's races 3-5 and races 4-6. I played the 4-6 sequence and after the race 5 payoff was posted I was excited about my prospects but......
Race 3: 13.20-1, 5th choice of 7. (12-1 ML) Favorite .90-1
Race 4: 13.30-1, 6th choice of 10. (20-1 ML)
Race 5: 4.40-1, 3rd choice of 8. ROTW! (8-1 ML)
Race 6: 7.60-1, 6th choice of 8. (10-1 ML) Favorite 1.00-1
Races 3-5, $.50 Pick 3: $1,011.00. Pool 9,022.
Races 4-6, $.50 Pick 3: $324.15. Pool 19,008.
This is why FrankD is so insistent about pool size in many past posts. One good punch someone made likely caused the 4-6 sequence to be far shorter than the 3-5 it seems. I haven't ran the parlays yet but quite a contrast there. As a side note, all of the p3's into race 6 were much lower than the previous p3 for the top 5 choices in the betting in race 6.
One curiosity is if a TG player was involved in the second p3 described here for a solid amount/score given the ROTW comments about Western Reserve. I'm thinking mistermoose went a little more exotic than his post stated and hammered it a few extra times. Congrats and thanks deserved on a solid post and presumably a solid score in the win pool at least! And another solid ROTW by TGAB, Thanks Alan.
