I went to Arlington Park once in my life, about 20 years ago. I took my uncle John who was a big horse player in the 60's. We had a great day and I came home with a big wad of $100's as I stumbled on a nice trifecta after a slow start. As a So Cal guy, I was struck by the beauty of the facility. It was way nicer than any So. Cal track, even Del Mar. But with the state of Illinois currently stuck on stupid (Democrat super majorities in both houses), I'm not surprised if it is in decline.
