This was a key prep for the BC Classic so I'm interested in the board's perspective. West Coast given a lot of credit for the effort until I see the final 3f run in 40+ seconds. No one finished. And how do they open the gate when the top horse in the country is having a fit? They could have given him at least a few seconds to settle down, vs. 0.5 second. Maybe he deserves more credit for overcoming the trip versus the slower number.
