The amount of control over lead changes you ascribe to Saez (or any other jockey) is inconsistent with what I have read. If Saez wanted to carry War of Will wide, he certainly could have done it without a lead change and would probably do it leaving the turn, not at the 5/16ths pole. It is noteworthy that the lead change occurs right at the point when War of Will runs up on Maximum Security's heels, possibly making contact, as shown in the video in another thread. I don't know if there was contact, and I don't care about the DQ, but I don't think you should be calling Luis Saez a liar without more insight than you have provided. Do you have riding experience?
