Sire Lemon Drop Kid was named for a story by Damon Runyon, who also wrote the story that was the basis of Guys and Dolls, featuring the character "Nicely Nicely Johnson" (Johnson, yes?), who opens the show with "Fugue for Tinhorns" and stops it with "Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat".
