Also heard Rene Allard (no relation to Ed Allard the thoroghbred trainer)a Pocono Downs trainer had been brought in by FBI. Believe he is Canadian. Played poker with him at the Mohegan Sun Casino many times.
That is local hearsay.
Keep in mind, Chris Oakes (one of the 27 Chemistry Majors named) lives near Pocono
Downs in Bear Creek Pa.

Oakes actually a very successful trainer locally at Pocono. Branched out a bit as he had more success.
Actually a very personable guy around the track.
But I doubt anyone on the local scene is surprised that he, among numerous others, were using something to move up their stock.
