Todd Pletcher on Saturday at Gulfstream on Fountain of Youth Day.

15 Original Entries. 2 Scratches, Both M/L Favs in stakes races.

13-0-4-0.

.60-1 Abaan, 4th
.30-1 Never Surprised, 5th

(On Sunday, he was 0 for 2 with a 4th and a 7th at 1.20-1 and 4.40-1 respectively.)

Bad Day on the biggest 3yo day of the meet save Florida Derby Day. TAP had not lost more than 9 in a row at Gulfstream in the last 5 months on a quick search prior to Saturday.

Jamie Ness today at Parx on a random Tuesday (if my quick math is accurate)

12-6-1-3 (EDIT: Previously I had typed 5 but should be SIX wins on the day)

A Saratoga backyard friend of mine and I were emailing recently about trainers getting hot and cold. I had mentioned prior to Saturday that you see some big trainers having some bad days on Big Days (see Oaklawn Park's Rebel Day card for reference). It was alleged at the time I may have had too many Bud Light's for making such an observation. Just following through with another example. The random Tuesday example is beyond a trainer getting hot but that's just something people should see as it is absurd.

More on my time this past Saturday at Gulfstream Park soon, time permitting the next few days.
