Figuremaking discussion on Sport of Kings podcast (685 Views)

Today, I listened to the Sport of Kings podcast for this past weekend at Belmont, with Paul Matties as the guest handicappper. I was interested in the figuremaking discussion that begins about 4:40 into the podcast.

One thing that was discussed is the effect of track maintenance on figures and on the difficulty of making them. TGJB, I think I recall that you have someone monitoring track maintenance on the big circuits. Do you find that there is more intra-card maintenance being done these days than in the past, especially on big days?
