The well being of the horse should be the only conversation. When the horse stops coming first, that's when desperate decisions are made, usually to the detriment of the horse.

Here is a recording of an accused vet from the Servis/Navarro fiasco. When other people make bad decisions regarding their horse, and it gets claimed or sold, it has repercussions that affect that animal no matter who owns it.
