Just being selfish Jerry. Bill Mott has been the best trainer for the last 30 years at least. And he will forget more about horses tonight then I will ever know in my life.

After that race, in hindsight, had me wondering if he had run in the Preakness, because Mott mentioned that he was the type of horse that could run 3 times in 5 weeks and be competitive , he probably would have won and Journalism probably would have been second. The results from today, running 1-2 again, just had me nostalgic about racing. An Affirmed / Alydar type rivalry would of been great great for the sport and the Travers would get a lot more buzz.

And if Baeza would of ran in the Preakness and finish third, has that ever happened?
