What I was trying to say was it would of been cool if there was an Alydar/Affirmed rivalry in all 3 TC races leading into the Travers. Nothing more than that. Mott and McCarthy have managed there horses perfectly and was in no way meant to criticize the connections for any decisions they made.

I was young when Affirmed won the TC, and was intrigued by the feat of them running competitively against each other for so many races at the top level.

Selfishly wanting to see that occur again, I might of said something that was taken out of context.
