MANY years ago, I hit a 5 figure score for a $100 bet at Monmouth, nailing an $1800 tri 13 times.
Took a very long time to get over Tripleitis (as a another player called it)
This is long before the Pick-X or superfecta. I'm sure many have been infected with their own 'itis' playing those.
