AJ, completely agree with your last statement.
We have the best sport and the best form of gaming.
To bad the industry at large cannot pull there heads out of there asses.
We need more races with full fields. That means increasing the foal crop and stop closing down racetracks.
Looks like Hawthorne will never run a racecard again.
Which is a shame. You have one of the greatest cities, and was once was a great racing circuit gone.
We need more Pegasus type days every weekend for the sport to thrive.
Florida and California are not far behind. In 2028 , Gulfstream will have approximately 120 race dates, which almost guarantees the foal crop will drop more in the coming years.
By 2030 , racing will be Godolphin versus Coolmore, with 5 horse fields.
