Per David Aragona, @Horsetowatch, in re: to today's suspension on CAW restrictions:
"It's pretty disappointing that this gets suspended on the day that NYRA is conducting its most playable card in weeks. YESTERDAY'S WAGERING PATTERNS SHOWED SOME SIGNS OF PROMISE. Hopefully there are more days like that in the future."
(EMPHASIS ADDED THROUGH CAPS BY ME SINCE THE OTHER FEATURES DON'T WORK ON HERE ANY LONGER TO DO SO).
As for the fact it will be Feb 11th before they get this straightened out shows you that every industry decision involving anything remotely close to gambling revolves around what is best for the CAW teams. . . .
The lack of truth and transparency about what really is going on is again telling.
And last, as pointed out on the board, start doing the math on that first race yesterday and a mistake or not, the amount pumped in by CAW's is way beyond the 30% that folks want you to believe.
