To my close friends Steve and Christine Connolly. (Fairmount Park folks)!

These folks have won four races in a row with four different horses, three different trainers at two different tracks. No one is more passionate about horses, ownership, and thoroughbred racing than Steve and Christine. And Steve is one unbelievable handicapper who has hit some huge Pick 5's the past year that would make just about anyone say, "Wow, you can still score in a big way at the windows."

Lockstocknpharoah is a 3yo gelding who won by 8 1/4 Lengths in an allowance race last night. Triple Crown nominated. I can't think of anyone I would rather be friends with than these two to catch some Derby fever this time of year.

All the media folks looking for a good story about horse racing, ownership, Derby Dreams and Derby fever, etc should give Steve and Christine a call. He is the type of owner along with his wife Christine that should be celebrated for all of their persistence as owners for a long time. They have shared their passion with many owners as part of their groups including myself at times. What a run! I don't know where they will have a horse entered next but you might want to check it out with the roll they are on.
