This is a fascinating issue.
Last year in the Saudi Cup, Rattle N Roll (2022 Fairmount Derby winner), was the only U.S. entrant in the race. I recalled wondering why did these "other" guys not ship over for all that money?
Chad Summers ran in the Saudi Derby with Cyclone State.
Straight No Chaser the only one in the Dirt sprint (won).
That was the American contingent for 2025.
This year 9 USA Trainers are entered with some in multiple races. Asmussen, Baffert, Cox all with entries. Last year must have just been a coincidence none of them went over besides McPeek, Blacker, and Summers. Hmmm..
