The Road Show continues this week in Tampa. But this time they are colliding in the same place same race. The Tag Team began about 100 days ago when:

Kentucky Jockey Club: Cox
Remson: Brown
Mucho Macho Man: Cox
Risen Star: Brown
Gotham: Brown
Fountain of Youth: Cox

Oh there have been a few crumbs throw Pletcher's way but these are winning strategy moves. Its fills the Derby Entries with 3 or 4 runners who will take lots of money and attract Top Jocks who will later learn at the Derby Quarter pole they have less horse in their hands than they do in their boots. Go to the Derby segment 7:50 mark.

We are soon heading into an era where there will be 20 horse Derby Fields and two Trainers will saddle all 20. Everyone with a nice horse wants in on that natural nutraceutical action too.

So how do you handicap the Tampa Bay Derby? The same way you figured out who to Key on Top in the matchup between the Immovable Object and the Irresistible force. You can't. This is like the old Mad Magazine rivalry of Spy vs Spy. Juice vs Juice. This smells like a $2.40 Quinella.

But it's probably not that simple. Tampa, the track, has a history of horses bunching up and running like 6 wide down the backstretch. Patch Adams could not have run or been ridden any worse than he was last year here. And Chad Brown has probably had more Steak Dinners at Tampa's finest Berns, than he has had Graded Dirt Stakes wins there. So, it's a wide-open race and anyone can win, right? Sure. But only if they let you win....

Note: I actually like David Fawkes Beautiful War in the Columbia a tab. Statistically he is solid across the board. Bullet Work. Top Local Jock. And The Chad and Brad Show is nowhere to be found here
