Can someone explain how this happens? When they break from the gate #9, Ocelli is 16-1. When they pass the half-mile pole, he goes to 12-1, and by the time they pass the 3/8th pole, he's making a wide move into contention and drops to 7-1. Is this a CAW effect? If I played this horse in the tourney, thinking I'm getting 16-1 and he wins at 7-1, that could be the difference between winning and losing the NHC.
