That's interesting. Really wonder what TG does for the Bluegrass. TB derby had The Puma and Further Ado in it. Renegade broke his maiden in the Sam f Davis beating The Puma. The Puma ran second in the Fla. Derby and Renegade won in Arkansas. Probably be among the top 4 betting choices. The Wood winner Albus got an 83 Beyer.
Don't know really what to make of this group of colts. Usually this late into derby season, I like a couple of horses, not this year . They all have major question marks to me and have no idea who I prefer most at this point . If So Happy numbers come back decent, he might be able to move forward again.
Had enough of Pletcher in the derby, will let him beat me if the vets don't scratch Repoles horse. Further Ado looks like a horse for course , as does Percy's Bar in the Oaks and clearly prefer Keeneland. Otherwise Further Ado looked ordinary in his races away from Keeneland, though he does have a win over the Churchill dirt, does not seem to have that turn of foot to create separation like he does at Keeneland. Guess we'll see how they work and the defections. Nobody from the Lexington looks like they are heading to the derby, so the points races are done.
Anybody else feel that it's wide open ? Who is Irad going to ride ?
