He only comes out when I drink my gin.

Drink 'til I drop down
With one eye on my clothes
What is it?
I'll take it
Who is she?
I'll rape it
Got a bet there?
I'll meet it
Getting high?
You can't beat it

From one of the hands down greatest albums of all time Quadrophenia "Dr Jimmy". So what does that have to do with today? Well you're on more drugs and gin than Dr Jimmy if you think Talk to Me Jimmy in The Wood Memorial isn't a serious player in this race. He has drawn the 2 hole and with that prior race figure he is co fastest horse in the race (not splitting hairs over a quarter point or something). Given 60 days time, 5 works, two were at 6 furlongs. As the guy at Oaklawn says "We're Ready to Go."

Browns horse on the outside if he stays at 5/2 is ok value. I don't see a lot of 46 half mile stalking speed in here and he has it. I expect him to gun. Be at least 3 wide on the first turn and settle into a stalking position once they hit the back stretch. His paired 3's are legit and he has been battle tested. If these ML hold then crush this Exacta

In the Appalachian the key here is the Jock switch by Irad to Sister Trioenne. He and Lynch (27%) have always been a strong combination. The filly has been steady. The last race for some reason Jockey Gutierrez after a half in 47 decides to push on in 6F in 109. Got a little over confident late and was nailed. She has solid early stalking speed, but this isn't Gulfstream where speed is golden on the turf.

Brendan Walsh has two horses in this race. The one Tyler Gaffalione got off, who just beat Sister Trioenne, and the one he is on. The one he is on has enough works to run from here to the Rocky Mountains. And Walsh has an Army of nice horses for workmates. She is fit but is today the goal or Derby weekend and beyond? Either way she is flying late. The 1 in here is sneaky good. Yes Irad bailed. But those three 9's with the first one coming in that maiden score are intriguing. Sister Trioenne is running 8.5 and she drew wide. Saffie is giving Machado a chance to show something. She ran on in her last, just didn't quicken when it was needed. She may have needed the race. A forward move may be coming and she will be saving ground with another Percys Bar rail trip. and the rail was live yesterday. It's a 1,9,10 Box in a race where some tough choices have to be made. Good Luck everybody.
