I understand your point P
I’m not trying to be thick headed.
Early Friday it seemed to me the lead horses were not holding.
Yes the pressers and stalkers seemed to be running better. It also seemed being of the rail was better.
So when the lead horses kept fading Friday and the pressers, stalkers and closers seemed to me filling out the tris I say the speed is not holding.
I adjusted my handicapping and started playing more of those types.
All I can say is I profited this weekend.
If our lenses do not align so be it.

Recent Derby history if you had a horse in the front pack with that half mile split are you more optimistic or pessimistic about your chances?
All closers filled out the tri.
Oaks half mile 46.4 fair time for that race.
No speed finished in the tri.
Again our lenses don’t have to agree.
Feel free to take my money at the window.
