Just to follow up, it was easier to get a round and I think that was mainly due to the walk around tickets only being the front side. Eliminates a ton of the infield crowd from hanging out in the paddock area or the tunnel area.
Living in Louisville it has become obvious that CD cares nothing about the city or the people themselves. Oaks day was a huge blow to the restaurant and bar industry. All kinds of restaurants are failing and to have one of their biggest nights taken away from them is insulting.
CD just continues to raise prices, year after year. Turf Club members can no longer enter the stakes room, GOld members need a ticket. I hope building that monstrosity in the infield is their undoing. This is the last year I'll support CDI with buying a box.
Maybe a trip to Saratoga will return my faith in racing but I doubt it.
