Great job as usual. A couple of things. No "T" for Chief Wallabee? He was sandwiched at the 8th pole Completely knocked off stride and finished willingly.

Everyone from 8th place on "X". Shouldn't we be going to back to the discussion of pedigree for some of this. If you have to go a Mile and a Quarter and the pace you are setting is 46:2 or you are 4 lengths or so off this....you are going too fast. When the Herd moves hitting the far turn you have to go. There is no saving horse because you will be shuffled back in the pack. So 10 horses reach the 8th pole together and eight of them are stopping. Further Ado and So Happy bounced some. Emerging Market still too green. Unless they get away with a half in 49 all these others are not getting a Mile and Quarter. Ever!!

The story I relayed about PB winning $400,000 and he figured 80% of the field could be eliminated or would be from the Derby Pace. Its a Herd. When the Herd goes you HAVE to go. 80% in a 20 horse leaves 4 live horses. He had two of them. He liked his chances and knowing the two Jocks he liked his chances even more. He quoted the Stats on the Ortiz Brothers and "No Woman Trainer etc". None of that had to do wuth today. So he went ALL IN on them. An All Time Great Call!!
