Perhaps it is a product of horses going into the race with 3 or 4 races in their entire Career. Some of these are going to get faster. Possibly much faster
Same as my Pedigree response and being asked to go a Mile and a Quarter. This is why several X. A Pure Sprinter will X every time he is asked run a pressured Mile and a Quarter. There is a cause for the effect
