Last night, I set out to prove I am one of the dumbest folks in the parimutuel pools. After I was set in stone with Ocelli on a solid BES/Preakness Double score by most any standards, I reached out to the owner of this site (TGJB).

Based on comments by Craig Milkowski on a podcast I listened to last night (well after playing the BES/Preakness Double) and based on my own review of the horses that returned to race, I reached out to see if he had thoughts the Wood was rated too slow. Milkowski stated he thought it was 10 points too slow on Timeform's scale. My reaching out was to strengthenen my opinion on Ocelli. It DID cross my mind to look at the other Wood finishers and consider crafting plays involving all three of them. But b/c I am stubborn and too aggressive with my opinions sometimes, I stuck with Ocelli.

Wood Memorial participants finish 1, 2, 4 in the Preakness. What an easy game (sarcasm) and I completely botched an opportunity by continuing to put myself in position with p5, p3, and double plays into only Ocelli.
