I am one guy who is never afraid to cut a race loose when it’s called for. But having now looked at this race several times, a) there were four 1/8th races on that card (very unusual)including the race right before (Gazelle), I had them all within a point, and actually took a little more off the Wood, and b)I haven’t seen anything to make me think it’s wrong. If you make the race faster you give a whole lot of horses big new tops.
