Here are two examples and in these cases the CAW play was wrong.
Facts. 1st start as a 3YO Nitrogen ran at GP and was 4/5 in the Stakes from the monet the odds flashed and until the Gates opened and the running began. Money poured in on Saffie who became even money. Nitrogen got up in the last jump and paid 9/5.
Rinse and repeat next race at Tampa in another Stakes. January and February Stakes races at GP and Tampa are not small pools. At GP that day it was the feature. At Tampa a co feature of sorts. What did Knightsbridge end up going off at in the CD Handicap when all the money poured in late on the Japan horse. In that case and as we all know in many others they were right
Smart Horseplayers go the other way when the odds are too low. Many people in the general public think its a clue that he is Live. And if he drifts upto 7/5 probably bet him. The intended target of the CAW Wager is still unknown. And will not be revealed until they are half way around the Track after the Gates have opened.
This is not the Game of 30 years ago where Players handed wagers thru a window back and forth with a mutual clerk at the Track they are at. Its now more virtual, cyber and with a large syndication of Groups who get to wager at a Discount. Could you post all the New Horseplayer Protection Rules that have been added aside from scratching half the field from the day the Entries are drawn and the runners spring from the Gate. Including Corporate IT Internal Controls.
Canceling a Bet? Just point and click. As far as Twin Spires goes you can cancel
amount per day- $15,000
amount per week- $15,000.
30 Bets a day and 90 per week
The catch is $500 Bet size. Which means it would be 30 Bets. And there is your $15K. And they will do manual overrides depending on who you are.
If someone is at the Track with a Voucher who controls that? Asking for a friend.....
