Ok Gary you lure me in. I am a fan of Bertie. After Bertie laid off ajd they returned to Kentucky Downs after a short layoff. All part of their Plan I am sure because he won there his previous year. He basically laid an egg and has since. When it was time to punch which he can do, he didn't. Something has gone amiss. Now he loves this Track. Has good "take care of the horse first" connections. He is very capable but I'm not seeing it. Feeling it. Since Kentucky Downs that day I have not bet him since. Mercante has the same look after his last CD win

Lagynos is much improved over the last 8 months. He now seems to be getting to the lead by the Top of the Stretch and certainly by the 8th Pole. And he doesnt hang as bad. Notice I hedged there. Fort Washington was given two conditioners over the Winter. His last was a GIFT at 3-1 as the inly Grade One winner against listed Stake types. I think he got a lot out of the race and will move forward again. The Dinner Party repeat and a Million repeat are the Goals. He has run terrible over this Track twice but returns again. Sometime he doesn't wait to change leads. When he puts it together he beats these. But all the others I mentioned above can say the same thing. If he stays 5-1 don't toss a horse out that is probably sitting on another 2 or 1.

Two years ago Rory McElroy blasted a Masters field and picked up another win or two. The talk was out there. Rory was the Best Player in the World. The Scottie Scheffler won the Players and PGA and as Trevor Immelman said "Scheffler showed up this week and wanted everyone to know it was time to restore order. Thats Bill Mott and Sovereignty today.

Anyone who reads this Board knows we sent it in on Derby Day last year. It was posted right here. "He is aggressive and going to fire" was word from the Stall. And when you remember him launching 5 wide on that far turn with a bead on Journalism you NEVER forget it. Never!! 6/5 feels short against a field where tjere are three horse who have made over $8.5M. This is how we keep horse running longer. Unless your Starlight, etc who try and sell a Stallion after one breeze!!

Sovereignty is giving up pace advantage to Magnitude. White Abario is freaky good at times. Baeza is still improving. Its a 5 horse cage match where the last one standing wins and survives. Forever Young has already laid out his Plans to come to New Belmont Opening Day and Breeders Cup Classic as the Headliner.

Someone once sang "Meet the New Boss. Same as the Old Boss". And that song was "We Won't Get Fooled Again." But this is all just talk. As Scheffler did you gotta go out and prove it on the Playing Field. He's Ready.....
