It is really fascinating how:

When a Super Trainer is not absolutely ROLLING that from time to time their horses also break slow.

Probably a wonderful database someone could have built the past year or two is super-trainers in cold streaks and their horses (often favored) that break really poorly. I have not kept stats on this but I have noticed it for a long while. Oh look, it happened two races in a row with Todd in the Suburban. Super-trainers in HOT streaks don't have ones breaking so poorly. It is most often when they aren't firing on all cylinders. Apologies to those who hate such broad and anecdotal statements but something to keep an eye on that I have not seen folks discuss or write about as handicappers anywhere the last few years.

This won't continue but 19 different trainers to win in 19 races so far. Credit to Grening for posting this after 17 races at Spa.

Remembering Mamba taking SEROUS money. Is it the Vet PP's or is it inside info? Have to believe horse runs big. I tossed from my pick 4 where I only went two deep in leg 1 so I am probably toast here.

Saratoga product through first two days with all sorts of handicapping puzzles. Speed biased track yesterday? Fair track today? Very logical first half of card today? Box cars to start the card's p5 yesterday. Let's hope it continues.

I am up for the challenge this year when I have time. NYRA attempting to curb the CAW LATE effect on the pools. Morley's horse in the finale is my play of the day after losing to a Mark Casse horse when Casse was sizzling Belmont week at Sar. Inside post after an outside post last time. Masterful ride by Santana last time; knows the horse well. Fingers crossed I get there in the p4.
