I've only been following the game for 27 years. You have an extra 13 years on me. The 50% streak for beyond 20 starts in a row at the top levels of the game is something I've only seen in the most recent years.

I'm sure it does not have anything to do with vet work or cycling their horses up on their "programs". Probably just involves when the mood in the barn is strong and then after a horse wins by a nose all the other ones rattle of win after win after new top after new top etc etc
