Fair enough Gary but changed my original premise? Maybe the way you read it. I said the Empire was crumbling. And those Statistics back it up.
As far as being a Big Fan or someone you admire a lot. I will not try and change your opinion. A lot of people still like Pete Rose, Roger Clemons, Barry Bonds etc. I read Pete's most recent book and it was a laugh a minute. I was a Bobby Bonds fan as kid. So Barry I found interesting. But that doesn't mean they didn't do what they did. And it doesn't mean they did wrong their entire career. You can live a good Christian Life for 50 years and decide you need to Rob a Bank. And when you get caught were you a good Christian or a Bank robber? Or maybe both. Either way you are still doing about 10 years.
At the end of your Career and Life you are what your resume says you are. Everyone has the opportunity to make amends. People believe in 2nd chances.
But ChatGPT doesn't have emotions. It just thinks and here is what it has to say:
"Based on the available public records, Pletcher has faced three distinct medication‑related suspensions in the past two years, with two upheld by appellate courts and one overturned but still resulting in a suspension. In summary, Pletcher’s medication positives have led to multiple suspensions over his career."
I have fired people before and been fired. And sometimes it wasn't personal, it was just business. When you break the rules and make your Clients or Customers look bad usually there goes the business. As Dave Grening of DRF just pointed out Pletcher is 0-36 on dirt going back to May 23rd. What changed?
