Coincidentally, standing on the rail with FrankD before the horses left the paddock for a race Saturday, the topic of Covello came up. I don't recall the prompt but we discussed him for a bit. Almost everyone reading this post probably is passionate about horse racing. And it is very rare to see people walk away from the game altogether that put in so much time and energy. It seems to be a love affair not many can turn their back on without looking back. Guessing covello did so??
