Believe me, I take full advantage of the complimentary data offered through TG/At the Races and DRF's Race of the Day, and I am grateful. Phileas Fogg....when that morning line held....

Personally, I have become much more selective of races, partly because I have wisened as a bettor, I have learned to wait; and partly because of data cost. I read a ot of morning lines to find competitive races. And I eargerly await that Wednesday emal. Let me say, I love it and thank you. Every race is a seminar, and if you wait....

Many tracks today are encased, literally and financially, by a casino. Fans have to walk through a casino and a sports betting parlor and all that jingle jangle just to get to the track. Racing just can't take that $30 for granted. This forum is rarified air, but racing still needs the hoi polloi
