However, there is a is a method to my madness and it does need 'splainin'
First, I should say that I too find this race not a betting opportunity for me, so this pic is really an exercise
My first thought was well. This is the Graveyard of Favorites.
Then seeing the morning line, I had to look around, so my reasoning was why barrio's numbers were competitive his figures draw a line through that one in the slot so in my mind, he's kind of fresh and I like a fresh horse same thing with nitrogen, but the big question to her is that she really likes Saratoga that much? can she run back to that?
she's getting a few pounds plus even if she bounces back one or two she's still competitive
Now Magnitude is very fresh, too and very competitive but the morning line is 9 to 5 and I think he and Sovereignty will both be under 2-1.
Now with the rail and that track configuration for that race that could be a big advantage for him
on paper, he seems the one to beat
Having said all that, I was able to watch a few training videos from the past few days, Magnitude and Sovereignty are both mature horses. They look every bit of it and they are full of run, especially Magnitude
Nitrogen looks like a filly.She is up against it with those beasts.
She might not beat Magnitude, but I think she has a shot to beat the others. It is the Graveyard if Favorites and stranger things have happened
White Abbarrio, He looks like an older horse who just takes longer to warm up and get loose, but once he does, he trains very solidly and soundly, and he clearly knows his job. I would draw a lune through that last in the slop. To me is is fresh horse and Nitrogen, too. And that beast Magnitude, as well. I like fresh horses
Now, if I were to bet, I would take a shot by putting the filly and the old guy with Magnitude and bet against Sovereignty on his shorter rest.
But that all leaves out Baeza!!! another very fresh horse, though with slightly better odds
Sigh, I'm passing this race

What do you think a Magnitude/Baeza exacta will pay? This might be the bet
I wouldn't be surprised if Magnitude hits even money, though
