I had the Whitney at 109 and race 3 at 95. Beyer had those two races 3 points higher at 112 and 98 respectively. I agreed with their 7f race assessments. I had the 6.5f races about 4+ points slower than Beyer.

Nitrogen earned a 105 Beyer.

TimeformUS speed figure will be approx 133 according to Craig Milkowski on X. He notes that Nitrogen's figure will be closer to the 133 than the 4 3/4 length margin at the finish would imply due to the fast pace.

Dirt figure makers had three races at 6.5f, three at 7f, and 2 at 1 1/8 miles to give them a little bit more evidence to work with than you usually see on these big cards.

As I've told friends by text, USS Valour is an absolute lock next time. Fractions of races 2 and 6 were faster early on, broke from the rail, saved ground in T (recall where you didn't want to be), and closed very well. This horse rolls next time. I wonder if Shug stretches out on dirt or turf next time? Dirt route might be tough to find. Maybe 7f MSW on Dirt on Sat of closing weekend or the 1 1/16 MSW on turf the same day (both in the condition book)?? If so, I'll be there to see this horse live.
