I’m an old guy from Chicago. Been playing the races since the mid 1970’s. A friend told me once “they get away with this crap because they’re the only game in town�. With the arrival of casinos and the demise of Hawthorn my friend was proven to be correct. It’s just a matter of time until racing will dwindle down to a few tracks.
