The newest members of the HISA Advisory Board will "provide . . . formal feedback on the evolution of its Racetrack Safety Program and Anti-Doping and Medication Control Program." (quote from yesterday's Bloodhorse article)

Two of the members are experts at staff members causing lidocaine positives in horses that run really well in their races. Even some expertise in urinating in the horses' stalls if I recall correctly. And, in some cases, horses not surviving the racing experience. I thought the most recent one would lead to some serious pushback. WRONG!

Unrelated, one of the trainers has found some very recent success far surpassing any weekend in the last few years. Last weekend he ran 8 horses at 3 tracks with 7 wins and 1 place including 3 graded stakes. Hmmm. . .

These are definitely the folks you want helping to shape the future of the medication rules and regulations.
